NEW MATERIAL:A pyridinium compound expressed by formula I (R<1> is alkyl; X is acid residue; A is CH or expressed by formula II). EXAMPLE:2-[ 3-( 1-Heptyl-1,2-dihydro-2-pyridylidene )-1-propenyl ]-1-heptylpyridinium iodide. USE:An immunological regulating agent useful as an anti-inflammatory agent. PREPARATION:A compound expressed by formula III is reacted with a compound expressed by formula IV to give the aimed compound expressed by formula I .
