The invention relates to a blood container with integrated separating surfaces for the separation of erythrocytes from blood plasma intended for infusion. It is the aim and object to obtain large quantities of concentrated erythrocytes while avoiding elaborate process steps by sedimentation and filtration. This is achieved by two filter chambers one of which is arranged in the interior of the other filter chamber and the separating surface of which is designed, completely or partially, as filter membrane of minimum wettability. One part of the inner filter chamber contains steel wool which produces a plasma-free erythrocyte concentrate with the efficacy of a field current gradient.
