PURPOSE:To attain the measurement of coverage in a real time by using a means which applies the write signal to a coverage memory only with an executing address following a conditional branch instruction. CONSTITUTION:When a target CPU executes a conditional branch instruction, e.g., an address P1, the output D0 of A of a target memory 13 is equal to '1' together with the output Q of a JK flip-flop 15 also set at '1'. If the conditions are not satisfied and the instruction of an address P2 is executed, the output D1 of B of the memory 13 is equal to '1' with the output Q set at '0' respectively. The write signal of a coverage memory 2 is delivered only when the output Q is equal to '1'. Therefore the contents of the memory 2 are changed to '0' from '1' only with the address P2. This means that the segment of the address P2 is executed. Therefore the area of the contents of the memory 2 which is equal to '1' is defined as an unhit segment. |
