PURPOSE:To provide the titled remedy, by combining a glycerol derivative or its salt with a tomor nectrosis factor-inducting agent. CONSTITUTION:A remedy for malignant tumor can be obtained by combining (A) the compound of formula (R<1> is 10-24C alkyl; R<2> is 1-4C alkyl or aralkyl; A<+> is heterocyclic group having quanternarized nitrogen) or its salt [e.g. 3-(N- octadecylcarbamoyloxy)-2-methoxypropyl 2-pyridinioethylphosphate] and (B) a tumor necrosis factor-inducing agent (e.g. lipid A or endotoxin containing lipid A as the core). The agent has extremely excellent carcinostatic activity, low species specificity, and high remedying effect. Dose of the compound of formula: 0.01-3g/m<2> daily. It has excellent hydrophilic as well as oleophilic properties, and low toxicity, and can be administered safely. |
