PURPOSE:To facilitate the fitting of an electronic controller and ensure proper operation thereof by making up the electronic controller of a hybrid integrated circuit and housing the circuit in the space of a housing part which is integrally provided on the external wall of an air-flow passage cylindrical casing. CONSTITUTION:An electronic controller 40 is made up of a hybrid integrated circuit on a substrate and fixed onto the upper wall 31c of a passage pipe line 31 of a sucked-air flow metering instrument inside its casing part 31d. The cooling capacity of air flow inside the passage pipe line 31 may be utilized effectively with respect to the electronic controller 40, resultantly eliminating the need of specially mounting a heat radiation construction. Since the electronic controller is housed inside the casing part 31d by use of its extra space, the electronic controller can be installed inside an engine room with ease and a connector and a harness which are used to connect the sucked-air flow metering instrument to the electronic controller 40 become unuseful, providing no possibility of noise creation, voltage drop and false connection and therefore ensuring the proper operation of the electronic controller. |
