PURPOSE:To utilize a back rest for an infant seat, a lumber support, a foot rest, etc. by forming said back rest of a front seat, being divided into side members on the both sides and upper and lower central members, and making said both central members rotatable. CONSTITUTION:A front seat 1 consists of a seat cushion 2 and a back rest 3, which, in turn, consists of side members 5, 6 on the both sides and upper and lower central members 7, 8, which are positioned between the side members and which are adjacent to each other. The upper central member 7 is rotatably supported by the both side members 5, 6 at their upper parts, by means of a rotating mechanism 14, and is rotatable from a head rest state 7a to a back state 7b. The lower central member 8 is rotatably supported by the both side members 5, 6, at their lower part, by means of a rotating mechanism 16, and is rotatable from a forwardly laid state 8a to a backwardly laid state 8b, both in the horizontal direction. Thereby, the back rest can be used in various ways. |
