PURPOSE:To perform a retrial automatically when a compiler has a faulty state by providing a function to decide the capability for rereading of a source program to be supplied to a control part, a function to perform the retrial and trace damping function. CONSTITUTION:A rereadable source program is converted into machin words in order of compiler main bodies 1-1-1-n. For instance, a fault arises during conversion through the main body 1-3. Thus the fault is detected by a detection part 21 and supplied to a reread deciding part 22. The part 22 decides the propriety for rereading. When the propriety is approved for rereading, an arrangement part 23 sets again an environment and also indicates the retrial area after receiving the approval for rereading. Then a bit showing the retrial is displayed and the retrial is carried out by a retrial part 24. At the same time, a damping procesing part 25 is actuated with the display bit. Then the trace damping carried out from a desired area under retrial.
