PURPOSE:To increase variations of a balancer shaft due to rotation thereof and thereby prevent a piston crank mechanism from being vibrated by allowing elliptical gears to be engaged with each other such that an angular velocity and an acceleration of the balancer shaft are maximum at a top dead center of the piston crank mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A flyweel 13 is fixed on one end of a crank shaft 3 so that it may be prevented from being varied due to rotation thereof and may be given inertial turning force. An elliptical gear 4 provided on the other end of the crank shaft is always engaged with an elliptical gear 5 of an idle gear shaft 15, and the gear shaft 15, and the gear shaft 15 is rotated with variations by actions of the elliptical gears 4, 5. The idle gear 6 is engaged with a balancer gear 7 on one balancer shaft 12, and further the balancer gear 7 is directly engaged with the balancer gear 8 on the other balancer shaft 11. Hereby, an angular velocity and an angular acceleration are made maximum at top and bottom dead centers of a piston, preventing the piston crank mechanism from being vibrated.
