PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus for continuously recovering, dehydrating and drying sludge with good efficiency, constituted so that magnetic sludge magnetically deposited to a magnetically depositing magnetic drum is compressed and dehydrated between said drum and the drying magnetic drum contacted therewith before dried by hot air. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic sludge recovery apparatus wherein a magnetically depositing magnetic drum (a drum A) having a large number of minute permanent magnets embedded in the surface thereof and a drying magnetic drum (a drum B) are rotated while closely contacted by a spring 8 and the mutual attracstion force of the magnets, sludge supplied from a water supply port 3 is adsorbed with the drum A 1 and compressed and dehydrated at the contact part of both drums with the rotation of the drums. The dehydrated sludge is peeled off from the drum A 1 by a scraping plate 5 and magnetically deposited on the drum B 2 and dried rapidly and effectively by blowing hot air to said sludge from a hot air blower 6 and, thereafter, peeled off from the drum B 2 by a scraping plate 7 to be recovered as dry sludge. |
