PURPOSE:To improve the safety of the titled range by constituting the range so that the highest designated temperature in the vicinity of the burner is detected, and a safety valve for detecting misfire of the burner attracts and opens by a thermoelectromotive force of a thermocouple, is closed. CONSTITUTION:A gas passage leading to the burner has the safety valve attracting and opening by the thermoelectromotive force and a cock for opening and closing the gas passage. The safety valve and the cock are operated by a knob, and the safety valve is separated from a valve seat by pressing and is opened. The cock is opened by the rotation, whereby the gas is supplied to the burner through the gas passage and is ignited. The safety valve is attracted and opened by the thermoelectromotive force of the thermocouple due to the flame and maintained. When the range is abnormally heated by the burner, the contact of a highest temperature detector is closed, and the attraction of the safety valve is released to close the valve seat and the gas is interrupted. Further, when the burner misfire occurs, the thermoelectromagnetic force of the thermocouple becomes zero, and the safety valve is closed. By this construction, the safety of the range can be improved. |
