PURPOSE:To know clearly the presence or absence of data to be transmitted and the state at the end of transmission, by using the 1st means which displays a data transmission mode and the 2nd means which displays the end of data transmission. CONSTITUTION:The data supplied through a keyboard K are stored temporarily to a text memory RAM and then the contents of the RAM are transmitted by an electronic typewriter. A display device D which displays a data transmission mode and the end of data transmission is provided to said typewriter. A display part D displays characters, marks, etc. fed by the keyboard as well as the above-mentioned transmission mode. In other words, the variation of luminance is given to a guidance triangle mark on characters MEMORY in case a text is transmitted to an external device. Then characters TEXTEND is displayed at the center part of the part D when the transmission is over. |
