PURPOSE:To chuck a disk securely even when a small-sized permanent magnet is used by pressing a disk pack in forcibly in the process of loading the disk pack so that the gap between the chucked member of the magnetic disk and a chucking member is minimum. CONSTITUTION:The disk pack 10 is inserted into an opening for insertion and extraction while a holder part 30 is at the 1st position where it is open at a specific angle. Then when the holder part 30 is rotated clockwise around a support shaft 25, a lock pin 52 abuts on the pawl tip part of a lock plate 51 to stay at the 2nd position, the chucked member 3 of the magnetic disk in the disk pack approaches the chucking member 23, and a pressure member 33a presses the chucked member 3 against the chucking member 23 by force eventually to hold it suctionally. Then when the pressing to the holder part 30 is released, the holder part 30 returns counterclockwise to lock the lock pin 52 to the lock plate 51, and magnetic recording and reproduction are carried out in this state.
