FUEL INJECTION TIMING DETECTING APPARATUS FOR FUEL INJECTOR

PURPOSE:To improve the detection performance for fuel injection timing and reduce production cost by forming a spring receiving member for supporting one edge of a nozzle spring into cylindrical form and arranging a piezoelectric element inside. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle valve 2 is accommodated into a nozzle body 1 having an injection port 30. Fuel injection is carried-out by operating the nozzle valve 2 according to the balance state between the springy force of a nozzle spring 6 and the fuel pressure. The spring receiving member 10 for supporting one edge side of the nozzle spring 6 is constituted of a pressure receiving part 10a and a supporting part 10b. A piezoelectric element 12 is arranged in the supporting part 10b. Therefore, the dimension in the axial direction of the piezoelctric element can be increased, and the detection performance for fuel injection timing can be improved.
