PURPOSE:To produce extremely efficiently a titled hub without requiring particularly skill by holding a stem part to the socket of a flash welder in such a way that the axial center is perpendicular on the center of a discoid part and welding the stem part. CONSTITUTION:A heat part 1 of a titled hub which is a disc-shaped part formed by pressing is centered to a stem part (stud) 2 and is held horizontally to the receiving base 3 of a flash stud welder 16. The rear of the part 2 is pressed and held under specified pressure to a chuck 4 at the top end of the welder body 6 by a spring 5 privided therein. The body 6 is then lowered perpendicularly by a spindle 9 provided with a rack to lower the part 2 with respect to the head part 1, thereby bringing the top end of the part 2 into contact with the part 1. Electricity is then conducted thereto. The part 1 and the part 2 are then instantaneously welded, by which the strong and tough welding is accomplished to have the fine structure without thermal strain and thereafter the outside circumference of the heat part is precisely finished to obtain the product. |
