PURPOSE:To decrease the write time of defective loop identification information by allowing a defective loop write control means to produce the selective drive of a function driver for plural magnetic bubble memory device to write the said information to the said device. CONSTITUTION:When a controller 1 is brought to the operating mode to write the defective loop identification information in a magnetic bubble memory device, selection pulses PSEL0-PSEL3 are transmitted to selection lines 12-15 at a prescribed period one after another by a parallel selection circuit 4. The defective loop identification information is transmitted via a write data line 17 in synchronization with the selection pulses. Function drivers 50-53 receiving the selection pulses are brought to the operating state and the transmitted defective loop identification information is written in a prescribed loop of corresponding device. The write operation is continued until the operation is finished at each device. Then the write time is reduced.
