The invention relates to a front-panel installation assembly for a printed-circuit board having an adaptor which has contact pins, which are arranged in a predetermined grid and by means of which the adaptor can be mounted on the printed-circuit board, and having functional elements which are arranged in housings and can be brought into engagement with the adaptor by means of a contact plug connection whose contacts are arranged in accordance with a predetermined grid. In this case, the housings are mounted on the adaptor by means of a detachable latching connection, a device for adjusting the housings with respect to the adaptor is provided, corresponding to the grid of the contact plug connection, and the contact pins are supported in an L-shape and in the adaptor with their limbs (which can be brought into engagement with the housing contacts) against the insertion direction of the contact pins into the printed-circuit board, the housings being standardised in accordance with the grid of the contact plug connection and it being possible to move the contact pins into the adaptor as required.
