PURPOSE:To facilitate water level control, and to enhance the stability to the change of flow by providing a caking agent adding tank and a sludge introducing tank which are united at the bottom part of an agitating and mixing part, and further providing an overflow tank for overflowing the mixed sludge. CONSTITUTION:The sludge drawn from a sludge tank 6 by a pump 7 is sent into a sludge introducing tank 9 through a densitometer 22 and a flowmeter 3, and the water level is controlled to cope with wide-range fluctuations of the inflow. The water level in the introducing tank 9 is controlled by measuring the water level in the introducing tank 9 with a level gauge, and proportionally controlling the number of revolutions of the pump 7 to control the inflow Q1, and to make H1 constant. And the level of the mixed sludge in a regulating tank 14 is controlled by utilizing the air pressure exerted by air pipes 17 and 18, and operating so that the overflow from an overflow tank 13 may be inversely proportional to the water level of the regulation tank 14. |
