PURPOSE:To use the titled cartridge to a deck different in tape loading mechanism by forming a chipped part which is opening in lateral directions and foreward at the lateral symmetric position on the front surface of a cartridge case in such a way that the chipped part is inserted into the case interior. CONSTITUTION:At two locations at right and left sides where a tape 3 of a cartridge case 1 is introduced, chipped parts 7 and 7, which are opening in lateral directions and foreward, are provided, and a capstan 5 at the deck side and a tape drawing pin 6 are inserted into the chipped parts 7 and 7. Therefore the cartridge can be used for such a deck that the tape 3 is pulled to the case front face and such a deck that a head is inserted into the case front face instead of pulling the tape; therefore it is convenient. Moreover, this cartridge is constituted in such a simple way that only two chipped parts 7 are provided on the opening front face of the cartridge 1. Consequently strength of the case can be secured and molding can be simplified.
