PURPOSE:To enable the accurate calculation of a numerical value alone, by entering a scale dimension of cm m/m to the surface of adhesive paper to display the same by color printing and utilizing an adhesive flat ruler made of paper having a sticking agent and release paper provided to the back surface thereof in conventional surveying. CONSTITUTION:Release paper 2 is adhered to adhesive surface paper 1, wherein the left half part from the center shown by 0cm m/m being a boundary is colored white and the right half part is colored cream while scale dimension lines and characters are colored black by color printing, through a sticking agent 3 and both ends thereof are left as tabs to constitute a seal/scale. In performing surveying, the level A of a horizontal surveying equipment is set at first and the seal/scale is adhered to a structure C being an object on the basis of the lens height of the level A by using 0cm m/m as the center. Further, by starting measurement from a point A and determining two points of a point B- a point B', a numerical value is read to complete surveying.
