PURPOSE:To simplify the editing operation for tabulation by designating a cell to copy it with enlargement or reduction and providing a cell memory which stores data on the cell position, etc. to designate an optional displayed cell. CONSTITUTION:A tabulation editing controller 8 supplies an instruction given from a keyboard 1 to an instruction analysis part 21 and transfers the instruction to the next cursor position detecting part 22 after analysis. The cursor position information supplied from the keyboard 1 is given to the part 22, and the cursor position coordinates are detected. Then the instruction analysis information and the cursor position coordinates are transferred to a cell and abutting side specifying part 23. The part 23 reads out the cell data 26 out of a memory to compare it with the cursor coordinates and then transfers the row or column editing designation information and an input instruction to a cell data update part 24. Thus the cell data stored in the memory is updated. A display part 25 reads out the updated data 26 and delivers it to a refresh memory RFM for display at a CRT. |
