PURPOSE:To remove sliding between a heat roller and recording paper and to prevent the generation of uneven fixing by arranging a pressing roller having a specific constitution so as to contact with the heat roller. CONSTITUTION:The surface layer 12 of the heat roller 11 is constituted of a heat resisting rubber material such as silicone rubber. The pressing roller is constituted of a center roller 15 and an endless periphery circulating member 16 circulating the peripheral part of the center roller 15 and the center roller 15 consists of a center roller base material 17 made of a metallic material and an elastic layer 18 such as rubber formed on the peripheral part of the base material 17. The periphery circulating member 16 is longer than the peripheral length of the center roller 15 and is pressed at a contact part between the heat roller 11 and the pressing roller, but is not contacted with the other part. A part of the center roller 15 is dipped into lubricating oil 19 in a lubricating oil stock 20, so that the coefficient of friction between the roller 15 and the circulating member 16 is sufficiently small. Consequently, the sliding between the heat roller 11 and the recording paper 22 is removed and the generation of uneven fixing is prevented. |
