PURPOSE:To execute measurement with very high accuracy with respect to a side edge part by aligning the side edge part with a reference line, holding a cylindrical lens in a reference state, and placing a slit on an object side of an optical system containing this cylindrical lens. CONSTITUTION:A holding part 50 has a ring-shaped holding part 50 and a lever- shaped part 52, passes through a ''0'' point, and is freely turnable round a shaft orthogonal to a drawing. Also a reference line member 51 is fixed and installed to the holding part 50, and a cylindrical lens to be inspected 1 is held by the holding part 50 by aligning its side edge part with a reference line 51A of the reference line member 51. Also, in case of a cylindrical lens of a convex type, it has a capacity for forming a one-dimensional image of a real image by itself, therefore, its one-dimensional image can be observed, too, by making a light from a slit 33 incident directly to the cylindrical lens 1. In this way, measurement can be executed with very high accuracy with respect to the side edge part. |
