Sliding adjustment device

A sliding adjustment device for seats for vehicles or aeroplanes is described. The sliding adjustment device comprises a lower rail which is mounted on the floor of the vehicle or aeroplane and an upper rail which is mounted on a seat and is arranged so as to be slidable in relation to the aforesaid lower rail. The upper rail has one or more reinforcement ribs for increasing their rigidity.
