PURPOSE:To issue a receipt in which advance payment, the quantity of oiling, the sum and repayment are clearly shown by providing an advance payment data storing area and an actual selling data storing area in an RAM. CONSTITUTION:An advance payment data string area 1a and an actual selling data storing area a2 are provided in the RAM 12 of an electronic cash register ECR1. When advance payment operation is made and the actual quantity of oiling does not reach the sum of commodity paid in advance, a microprocessor 11 calculates the sum of advance payment oiling from the key inputted sum or unit price called out by the quantity of oiling and the number of hose, and stores in the area a1. When oiling is completed, the actual sum of selling is calculated from the quantity of oiling and unit price and stored in the area a2. The sum of a1 and a2 are compared, and when the sum of the area a2 is smaller than the sum of the area a1, the difference is calculated, and printed in the receipt as the sum of repayment. Thus, a receipt that shows the quntity of oiling, sum and repayment clearly can be issued. |
