PURPOSE:To obtain mixture gas having optimal air/fuel ratio at any time, by measuring the temperature drop in a carburetor utilizing sonic nozzle during varoporization of fuel thereby measuring fuel supply then comparing it with setting level and moving the nozzle up and down. CONSTITUTION:A throttle cone 9 coupled directly with a diaphragm 14 to be functioned by the negative pressure produced by controlling the negative pressure of suction tube 7 through control valve 17a is arranged in a throat section 22 to which a fuel nozzle 24 will open. During operation of engine, such amount of air as corresponding with the opening of throttle cone 9 is fed with sound speed to vaporize the fuel sucked through said nozzle 24 instantaneously thus to drop the temperature of suction air. The temperature drop is measured as the temperature difference between first and second thermo-couples 43, 44 thus to predict fuel supply. Then a controller will compare with specific amount of fuel by means of throttle cone position detector 12 and rotation detector 45 to produce an output for opening/closing the control valve 17 thus to regulate negative pressure and to control the position of throttle cone.
