Transfer press system for the progressive working of sheet-metal blanks, in particular parts of housings for household equipment such as refrigerators, washing machines and the like, having a plurality of successive processing stations which are positioned groupwise one behind the other and to which the sheet-metal blanks are fed one after the other by a conveying device driven in oscillating fashion in the longitudinal direction and having a plurality of conveying platforms (14) firmly connected to one another, on which are mounted jointly driven clamping feed devices (15) which clamp the sheet-metal blanks (11) before each conveying stroke and, upon transfer to the next station, only release them when they have been fixed in the respective processing station by automatically acting clamping elements (31) associated with each processing station, with the result that, once centred and adjusted upon transfer from a stack (A, B) or an intermediate turning or turnover device (C), the sheet-metal blanks (11) do not require any further adjustment. <IMAGE>
