摘要 PURPOSE:To make calculation with high accuracy by a simple method in short time with a titled method in which the prediction temp. of block-shaped materials is calculated on the basis of the detected value of the temp. in a heating furnace at every time mesh by using the repetitive recurrence equation expressed by time series. CONSTITUTION:The signals for the actually measured value of a heating furnace 1 as well as the position, kind and size of a billet W are gathered in an operating data collector 9 and the ambient temp. (u) of the billet is calculated with each billet by a control device 10 for heating information on the basis of each set of said data. Parameters (constants) a1, a2, a3 are selected from a storage device 12 according to the kind and shape of the steel and the temp. increase up to ejection of each billet in the furnace is predicted and calculated by the equation in an arithmetic device 11 for predicting the temp. increase. The calculation is accomplished in extremely short time by the simple equation. yn, yn-1, yn-2 in the equation are respectively the predicted temp. (calculated value) of the billet at the n-th, (n-1)th and (n-2)th prediction time after the start of the calculation, un is the (u) value at the n-th prediction time and a1, a2, b0 are determined by a method of least squares from the actually measured temp. increase curve of the billet.
