PURPOSE:To improve operability by storing page-fixed information which can not be changed in relative position on a page and relocatable information which is variable in different fiels and performing editing operation. CONSTITUTION:Input information such as character information inputted from the input part A of a document processor is stored in the 1st storage means C by an editing means B together with absolute address information characteristic to a page when the information is page-fixed information whose relative position is fixed on the page, or stored in the 2nd storage means D when relocatable information whose absolute position is variable. Further, this editing processing means B performs editing operation on the basis of said stored page- fixed information, absolute address information, and relocatable information, and synthesizes and outputs the page-fixed information and relocatable information to the output part E of a display device, etc. Consequently, information on a graphic form, etc., which can not be shifted in relative position has the position fixed on the page and the position is never changed by the insertion, delation, etc., of a document, so that the operability is improved.
