摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device capable of correcting the variation of sheet thickness in sequence and removing the influence of the variation of inlet sheet-thickness, by detecting the variation of inlet sheet-thickness of a multiroll different-speed rolling mill at its inlet side and controlling a different-speed ratio between upper and lower work rolls in accordance with the advance of a material to be rolled at the time when a variation point of sheet thickness arrives at each roll gap. CONSTITUTION:A tracking device 9 is operated by a signal obtained by synchronizing a sheet-thickness deviation signal, detected by a X-ray thickness meter 16 provided to the inlet side of a mill, with the advance of a strip 21 outputted from a pulse oscillator 19 at the inlet side. A different-speed ratio between work rolls WR1, 2 is controlled in accordance with the variation of sheet thickness, from the time when a sheet-thickness variation point arrives at the 1st roll gap. This different-speed-ratio control is performed by speed-difference control devices 6a, 6b through speed control devices 5a, 5b of motors M1, M2 used for driving the rolls WR1, 2. Successively, respective correction controls at the 2nd and 3rd roll gaps are performed in the same manner; and a control, for preventing the generation of the variation of sheet-thickness of a product caused by the variation of sheet thickness at the inlet of mill, is performed.</p>
