Horticultural soil plant potting feed - has automatic sack-suspension feed with support frame and mobile carriers

The support frame has two mobile carriages which are chain driven. Rods are interconnected with the carriages, whilst an air cylinder moves one carriage. A chain transmission moves the other carriage. The first carriage has parallel to the travel direction, a suction pipe with a suction entry and a flexible hose connected to a vacuum pump. The second carriage is fitted with two telescopic tubes and a vacuum pump. The inner tube draws plastics sacks from a supply stack. A centre mounted sack suspension mechanism ensures that sacks arrive fully opened under the potting soil machine discharge.
