PURPOSE:To raise a collection rate of a toner by moving together a pair of electrodes provided along a flow path of an air current, and collecting the toner from said electrodes. CONSTITUTION:In addition to conventional scavenging roller 3, the second scavenging roller 4 is placed opposingly. This scavenging roller 4 is also rotated in the direction as indicated with an arrow E, and also a seat 9' and a blade 10' are provided on this roller, too. A load source 8a and a positive power source 8b are connected to the scavenging rollers 3, 4, respectively. A flow path 13 runs against both the scavenging roller 3, 4, and thereafter, curved toward a filter 6, therefore, a toner 2 carried in the flow path 13 is attracted selectively to both the scavenging rollers 3, 4 in accordance with each electrostatic charge polarity by an electric field between both the scavenging rollers 3, 4. Subsequently, the toner 2 attracted to them respectively is scraped and collected by the blades 10', 10 in a collecting member 16, and the toner 2 is not attracted to a case 14a. |
