PURPOSE:To avoid malfunction such as engine stall in early stage, in an electronic controller for car engine, by predicting the operating pattern after settling to specific state and controlling early on the basis of the predicted results. CONSTITUTION:Electronic engine controller is provided with various sensor group 20 for detecting the operating conditions of engine or auxialiary machines, operating means 21 for operating various operations for the purpose to control o diagnose, various actuators functionable with correspondence to the results from operating means 21 and display means 22. Furthermore, an operational variation pattern producing means 23 is storing the pattern data of the variation of engine operation corresponding with specific state of engine or auxiliary machines, to provide pattern data of corresponding variation upon provision of outputs from sensor groups 20 indicating specific condition, thus to combine the outputs from sensor group 20 with the pattern data of variation by means of predicted operation pattern combining means 24. The operating means 21 will perform operation on the basis of the outputs from sensor group 20 and combining means 24 thus to function actuators and display 22. |
