<p>Process for the treatment of fabrics, especially during seam-opening operations in the production of a garment. A process and a fabric treatment device are described, mainly for a seam-opening operation in the production of a garment, in which steam pressing is carried out by means of a steam iron 11, followed immediately by cold- air blowing carried out by blowing means 16, fastened at the rear of the iron, causing an abrupt drop in temperature and moisture content in the fabric. The invention is used in the garment-making industry.</p> |
