<p>PURPOSE:To hold a pad in a stationary state even if external force is applied by providing the 2nd guide parts which engages the 1st guide parts at a column and a pad side, and further providing rotating bodies which revolve while rotating on their axes according to the rotation of a boss plate. CONSTITUTION:The 1st guide parts 11 and 12 fixed to the column 1 and pad 10 engage with the 2nd guide parts 16 and 17 of the rotating bodies 14 and 15. The rotating bodies 14 and 15 revolve along the 1st guide members 11 and 12 while rotating on a shaft 13 as a steering shaft 3 rotates. Consequently, the pad 10 is held in the stationary state even when the steering shaft 3 rotates. External force is normally applied to neither projection streaks nor grooves of the 1st and the 2nd guide parts, but when the external force is applied to the pad, the external force is received by the projection streaks and grooves of the guide parts to prevent the pad 10 from moving irregularly.</p> |
