The subject of the present invention is a component loader-extractor intended to transport a component along a defined trajectory, which comprises a frame, gripping means suitable for grasping the component, and a single motor, controlled in order to displace these gripping means, which is mounted stationary on the frame. According to the invention, the loader-extractor comprises an articulated parallelogram in which two of the sides are horizontal, one of these sides carrying gripping means 15, whereas the other horizontal side is mounted movably with respect to the frame 1 in a non-horizontal direction, and means for imposing at a point 18 of one of the two non-horizontal sides 11 and 12 a specific path so that the gripping means 15 travel along the said defined trajectory. <IMAGE>
