The invention relates to incandescent lamps. The halogen lamp forming the subject of the invention is of the type comprising a bulb 1 filled with a mixture of inert gas and a halogenated substance, and in the bottom part of which are sealed current inlets 2, an incandescent body 5 mounted rigidly between an upper bridge 3 and a lower bridge 4 which are fixed to the current inlets 2, and a thermal shield 6 arranged between the lower bridge 4 and the sealed connection of the current inlets 2 to the bulb 1, with a spacing with respect to the lateral walls of the bulb 1, and is characterised in that the thermal shield 6 possesses a central hole 7. The invention applies in particular to incandescent lamps including a concentrated incandescent body. <IMAGE>
