PURPOSE:To obtain a highly accurate deflecting york of high manufacturing efficiency by forming a metallic foil winding pattern on the surface of an insulating frame. CONSTITUTION:Before performing plastic plating on an insulating frame 4, a resist is formed on the area of the frame 4 which is not plated with a plastic. Alternatively, after plastic plating is performed either over the entire surface or on an area (on which a winding pattern is required to be formed) of the frame 4, a resist is formed in the form of the winding pattern. After that, the plated area not coated with the resist is removed by etching, thereby forming a winding pattern 5 made of metallic foil on the surface of the frame 4. As a result, the accuracy of the winding pattern of a deflecting york is increased thereby improving the accuracy of the field distribution. Moreover, it is possible to perform the mass production of deflecting yorks. |
