The appts. consists of a housing (8), in which an electric motor drives a centrally disposed shaft (20), creating a surrounding annular space. A capacitor (50) is arranged in the space with a central opening (52) in which the shaft (20) runs. The capacitor (50) is connected to the motor terminals and is arranged longitudinally rarallel to flexible suoport surfaces (62, 67, 68) which are integral with the housing (8), and cover a segment of more that 180 deg. relative to the shaft axis, to locate the capacitor (50).
