PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. having excellent low-temperature impact resistance and appearance and good mold release characteristics, by mixing polyethylene wax with a specified arom. polycarbonate resin. CONSTITUTION:The titled compsn. is obtd. by mixing 0.05-2pts.wt. polyethylene wax having an MW of 1,000-4,000 with 100pts.wt. resin compsn. consisting of 70-98wt% arom. polycarbonate resin (e.g. an arom. polycarbonate resin obtd. by using bisphenol A as a main starting material) and 2-30wt% acrylate ester graft copolymer (e.g. a graft copolymer obtd. by graft-polymerizing a vinyl compd. onto a rubbery copolymer composed of a 2-12C alkyl acrylate and butadiene). The compsn. has excellent low-temperature impact resistance, does not exhibit dependence of impact strength on thickness, has excellent flow characteristics during molding and excellent mold release characteristics and gives a molding material which has excellent resistance to weather and heat and gives moldings having good appearance. |
