Guided missile system

The guided missile system consists of guided missiles equipped with homing heads and mounted vertically in a launching appliance, of a sighting device and of a computer. By means of the sighting device, a gunner, by aiming the launching appliance once, determines its position vector and subsequently that of the target object in relation to his own position. These values entered in a computer are processed there in such a way that the guided missile can attack the target from above.
