In order to leave the framed wall skeleton visible in the case of a framed house wall with ventilated boarding, said boarding (40) is arranged in spaces at a distance from the in-filling wall (30). The sill (18) and the rails (22) are chamfered upwards on their outer surface so as to jut backwards in the shape of a roof, with the result that their upper outer edge engages behind the lower edge of the boarding (40), thereby forming an air-inlet slot. The upper edge of the boarding (40) engages into a groove (46) on the underside of the rails (22, 24), an air-outlet slot remaining free between the upper edge of the boarding (40) and the wall of the groove (46). <IMAGE>
