PURPOSE:To enable easy attaching and detaching of materials to be welded and to reduce space by making the mating surface of the door of a welding chamber oblique. CONSTITUTION:A material 6 to be welded is unloaded on a table 7 of the 1st welding jig and is attached thereto by using a hoisting tool, etc. to be exclusively used while the door 4 of a welding chamber is held open as shown by a broken line. The material is then moved together with a table 8 of the 2nd welding jig and a table 9 of the 3rd welding jig and is set right under an electron gun 10. The door 4 rotates counterclockwise around a hinge 23 and a pin 24 and the mating surface 3 is closed by means of a vacuum seal 5 and a bolt 28. The inside of the welding chamber 200 is evacuated to a vacuum by a vacuum pump and thereafter the material 6 is beam-welded by the gun 10. |
