PURPOSE:To simplify an additional circuit and software by making a device number of each existing and stand-by device changeable, and always denoting an existing system number as (m) and a stand-by system number as (n), and always making a processing device transmits and receives information to and from a device whose number is (m). CONSTITUTION:A ''0'' system 25 and a ''1'' system 35 constituted of a common bus interface part 26 and 28, and a central processor 27 and 29 are provided on a dual type device 105, information of the devices 27, 29 is received by a number inverting circuit 45, its output is provided to interface parts 26, 28, and a processing device 205 and the device 105 are connected to a common bus 15. Also, device numbers (m), (n) are designated to the systems 25, 35, and existing system switching information from the devices 27, 29 is sent out to the interface parts 26, 28 through the device 45, so that the existing system and the stand-by system are always fixed to (m) and (n), respectively. As a result, the device 205 always sends and receives information to and from the device whose device number is (m). |
