(A) A sweetening compsn. comprises a mixt. of (a) m-aminobenzoic acid and/or a nontoxic salt of this acid which is acceptable in foodstuff, and (b) m-hydroxybenzoic acid and/or a nontoxic salt of this acid which is acceptable in foodstuff. Ratio by wt. of (a) to (b) is 90/10-10/90, pref. 70/30-30/70. (B) Food prods. contg. an unsweetened foodstuff and the compsn. are also claimed.
