PURPOSE:To equalize the densities of printing by using correcting time data corresponding to the downtime of electrification immediately before a printing period with a correcting time data corresponding to the temperature of printing head for correcting the correcting time. CONSTITUTION:In a printing control circuit 2, printing indicating signal STR is sent out to actuate a program timer 3, and in a gate 4, printing indication is made on the basis of STR signals and channel Ch1 output of the timer 3. When a given time is reached, in CPU1, table housed in ROM5 is retrieved on the basis of detected values of temperature, and corresponding corrected electrification time is set in the timer 3. At the time, Ch1 is turned off, cooling is started, channel Ch2 is actuated, cooling time till the input of STR signals of next printing cycle is measured, and electrification correcting time DELTAtm is retrieved by the cooling time. Final corrected electrification time tn=tm2-DELTAtm is obtained from corrected electrification time tm2 and during the period printing indicating signal is sent out. The input of excess power can thus be prevented. |
