PURPOSE:To use the electronic and electric physical properties of a high conductive thin film by forming an electric insulating layer enabled to repeat the transmission/reception of electrons between a conductive base body and a conductive film. CONSTITUTION:A laminated structure body forms an electric insulating layer enabled to repeat transmission/reception of electrons mutually between the conductive base body and the conductive film supported by the base body. A memory element uses the laminated structure body as a working pole and forms a counter pole on the working pole through an electrolyte. A material forming the electric insulating layer has two or more energy levels and it is preferable to set up the edge of the energy level of the conductive film forming material between two energy levels existing in the electric insulating layer forming material. For instance, polypyrrol or polythiophene is used as the conductive film material, lutenium complex is used as a representative example of the electric insulating layer forming material and platinum, gold or graphite is used as a material for the conductive base body or the opposite pole. |
