CONSTITUTION:A liquid3 to be measured is continuously or intermittently injected into a measuring container 5 from a tank 7 through a valve 8 and an inflow pipe 1 and overflowed from an overflow discharge port 9. Whereupon, because a float balance 14 is floated corresponding to the specific gravity of the liquid to be measured and light from a lamp 18 is blocked by a light blocking plate 17, the numbers of light blocking of a photoelectric switch 21 are counted by a count part 24 to know specific gravity. This count signal 24a and the signal 26a from a temp. sensor 26 are operated by an operating part 27 and the signal 27a corresponding to the specific gravity of the liquid 3 to be measured at a reference temp. is outputted.
