PURPOSE:To keep service voltage to a feeder line constant, by making each output of each three-phase full wave rectifier circuit feeding both of constant and variable voltage, into cascade connection and thereby feeding the output to the feeder line of an electric car, while controlling the output voltage of a circuit which feeds the variable voltage. CONSTITUTION:A three-phase full wave diode bridge REC is connected to the output side of a three-phase rectifier transformer TR1 in star connection, while a three-phase thyristor bridge THY is connected to the output side of a three- phase rectifier transformer TR2. Then, both these bridges REC and THY are made into cascade connection, and each output voltage Ud from these elements is fed to a feeder line SE of an electric car C. With this constitution, each individual thyristor constituting the bridge THY is controlled whereby the output voltage Ud as a whole can be controlled. So, if a control zone of the bridge THY is enlarged, combined output voltage in both these bridges REC and THY is keepable in a constant value irrespective of a variation in a load current. |
