PURPOSE:To reduce both bending and torsion extents in a pedal operating member, by supporting the pedal operating member with an arm device, in case of a device which operates an accelerator and a brake by means of tilting operations of a manual control level frontward or rearward via the pedal operating member. CONSTITUTION:In a state that a brake locker 13 is released free, if a control lever 9 is operated to tilt rearward, a pedal operating member 31 is turned round to the rear of a link 33. This turning displacement takes place in centering on each upper end part of a support arm 30 and an auxiliary arm 44 whereby an accelerator pedal 29 is stepped on in an accelerating direction via an interlocking mechanism 39, with the rearward turning of the support arm 30. Likewise, when the control lever 9 is operated to tilt frontward, the pedal 29 is restored to its original position. And, when the lever 9 is operated to tilt frontward as far as more than the specified range, the pedal operating member 31 presses and displaces an arm part 28a of a brake pedal 28, thus a brake gets operating in consequence. |
