PURPOSE:A seasoning or a seasoned food, containing sodium glutamate and potassium glutamate in a specific proportion, having almost the same tastiness, particularly tastiness in the presence of common salt as that of MSG units without change in the taste potency. CONSTITUTION:A seasoning or seasoned food obtained by incroporating sodium glutamate with potassium glutamate at (3.5-10)/1 ratio between the number of sodium glutamate moles and the number of potassium glutamate moles, and mixing the resultant mixture with a food or seasoning containing a nucleic acid based tasting substance. |
